This EPA is being coordinated by Local Theater Company (LTC)’s internal casting department. LTC is an Actors’ Equity Association Small Professional Theater based in Boulder, CO dedicated to the discovery, development and production of new American theatrical works (plays, small-cast musicals and devised theater projects).

The Democracy Cycle is a project led by Local Theater Company in partnership with Gunnison Valley Theatre Festival and Curious Theatre Company.
An ensemble cast of six actors will perform three short plays in concert reading format. All actors are encouraged to apply. Some roles may be doubled.

KAY: 27, Japanese American, wearing pants, long sleeves – she wears her heart on her sleeve (hence the long sleeves), these are her beach clothes
HUGH: 25, white, has seen better days, in beach clothes
GLENN: He’s 28, white, wearing a suit, his physique hiding how weak he feels
BARB: 25, Black, all passion which can get her in trouble. This role doubles as Barb’s twin brother, Billy.
EDDY: 28, Black, completely comfortable with who he is
