UCA Public Appearances is celebrating Reynolds Performance Hall's 25th Anniversary in the 2024-2025 season. On November 2 and 3 at 7 PM, the Utah Symphony Films in Concert series will haunt Abravanel Hall with "Ghostbusters" in Concert, the 1980s cult classic about a team of Columbia University scientists who wage a high-tech battle against the supernatural, with the musical score performed live to picture by the Utah Symphony. This special event includes one of the state's largest costume contests, with winners scoring access to a plethora of passes and tickets to local Salt Lake City museums and events.

Building upon the overwhelming audience appetite for film screenings coupled with live orchestra playing the score, the Utah Symphony announced its Zions Bank Films in Concert series in the 2018-19 season featuring five orchestra presentations paired with blockbuster and award-winning motion pictures on the big screen at Abravanel Hall. The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) announced its 2018/19 season to a packed house in Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre earlier this evening. The Orchestra's fourth-annual, free Season Preview Concert once again featured the entire orchestra onstage performing selected excerpts, with emcees Music Director Ward Stare and Principal Pops Conductor Jeff Tyzik.
