About COVENANT BALLET THEATRE OF BROOKLYN

Since 1987, Covenant Ballet Theatre (CBT) has invested in the children and families of South Brooklyn, where cultural activities and resources are limited. In an accepting yet rigorous environment, CBT fosters the love of dance through pre-professional training, educational programs, and through dozens of original ballet productions conceived and choreographed by founder and artistic director, Marla Hirokawa. CBT Academy faculty include professional dancers and CBT alums, are experienced with training credentials, and work as a team under the Artistic Director to provide dancers of all ages the best training possible. All are committed to both high quality artistic training and the dancers' health and wellbeing. In its 35+ years, CBT has trained hundreds of students and touched thousands of lives with the love of dance.
